- Getting ready to buy a 2nd hand A1200
- and having never seen one in my life before,
- I'd like to ask the following question:
- I've been trying a few games on the guy's Amiga,
- (loaded them from workbench) and most of them (including
- Flashback) displayed a corrupted screen
- (everything was shifted a few pixels to the right for every
- scanline) as if the display width was not right.
-
- By using the boot's menu 'original chipset' setting
- they all loaded OK.
-
- Is that normal? Shouldn't they have a proper display even
- with the 'best available' option on?
- Or is it because I loaded them from within the Workbench??
- (which was probably running on DbPal mode)
-
-
- Thanks, from a quite lost Amigan.
